Bacon & Garlic Pasta

  • 1 Tbsp Kosher Salt

  • 1 lb Spaghetti (Fresh or Dried)

  • 1 lb Daily’s Deep Applewood Thick Cut Bacon, Diced 

  • 1⁄4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 Each Sweet Onion (Finely Chopped)

  • 6 Each Fresh Garlic Cloves (Sliced / Chopped)

  • To Taste Crack Black Pepper


  1. Cook Pasta according to package direction... target to slightly undercook so that you can finish the cooking process in the sauce. (Reserve ~2 Cups Pasta Water)

  2. Cook the chopped bacon in 1 tablespoon of the olive oil until even & crispy.

  3. Once Crisp, remove bacon from the pan and reserve. Add onion and garlic to the pan, and cook until tender and fragrant.

  4. Add 1⁄2 - 1 cup pasta water, bring to a simmer and add cooked pasta. Toss / Stir together and continue to simmer.

  5. Add additional Pasta Water as needed to develop (add) sauce.

  6. Add Bacon, and season with pepper.

  7. Garnish and serve immediately.
