Heartland Breakfast Bowl

Serves: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 1⁄2 lb. Fresh Brussels Sprouts, trimmed & halved
- 8-10 each Daily’s® Pepper Thick Cut
- Bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp Sherry or Apple Cider Vinegar
- To taste Kosher Salt
- To taste Ground Black Pepper
Preparation:
- Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat, until rendered and crispy.
- Take the bacon out of the pan (set aside until needed). Reserve / save bacon fat.
- Add the brussels sprouts to the pan, stir them until they're nicely coated in the bacon grease, and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for approximately 5 minutes.
- Add the bacon back into the pan. Deglaze with sherry vinegar. Continue to cook (uncovered) to desired color / doneness.
- Season with salt & pepper if needed.
- Serve immediately.
