Bacon Wrapped Plantains

30 pieces


  • 3 – 4 Each Sweet plantains (Should be very ripe)

  • 24 oz Daily’s Cherry Applewood Thick Cut Bacon (strips cut in half)

Vanilla Maple Mustard Dip

  • 1⁄2 Cup Spicy brown mustard

  • 2 Tbsp Maple syrup

  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla extract 

  • 1⁄4 tsp Toasted cinnamon (ground)

  • 1⁄4 tsp Garlic powder


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Remove the peel from plantains and cut 1/2 inch bites diagonally (on a bias).

  4. Wrap one piece of bacon around a piece of plantain... secure with a toothpick if necessary.

  5. Place on baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes, flip, then bake for another 10-15 minutes.


  1. Combine / mix the mustard, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and garlic powder together until smooth. Serve on the side.
