Triple Threat Bacon Burgers

Prep Time:

25 minutes

Serves:

4 servings

Ingredients

  • 24oz Freshly Ground Beef (Chuck 80/20)

  • 8 Slices Daily’s® Honey Hickory Thick-Cut Bacon, Cut in Half

  • 2 tsp Daily’s® Bacon Seasoning

  • 6-8 Tbsp Daily’s Bacon Jam

  • 6-8 Tbsp Daily’s Bacon garlic aioli

  • 4 each Hamburger rolls, split

  • 4 slices Colby Jack Cheese, or your favorite

  • 4-8 each Bibb lettuce leaves

  • 8 each Slices vine ripe tomatoes

For the burger sauce

  • 6 Tbsp. Mayonnaise

  • 1 Tbsp. Ketchup

  • 1 Tbsp Spicy brown or Dijon mustard

  • 2 Tbsp Sweet pickle relish

  • Optional Bacon fat

  • To taste Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

1- Combine ground beef, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Portion ground beef into four 1/3 LB patties.

2- Cook the bacon until crispy in the oven (375 degrees). Remove to a paper towel-lined plate; set aside. Reserve 2 to 3 tablespoons bacon grease in the skillet.

3- Carefully place burger patties in a skillet or grill. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side - burgers will be medium to medium- rare. Remove skillet from heat. Top burgers with cheese. Allow to melt the cheese (additional 1-2 minutes).

Assembly:

1- Place 1-2 tablespoons of aioli on the cut side of your bottom burger bun. Using the back of your spoon spread out the aioli to coat the bun.

2- Do the same with the Bacon Jam on the top bun.

(Add extra jam and aioli to your taste - you can't have too much of this jam.)

3- Top the aioli with a piece of lettuce, tomato slices, cheeseburger patty, and 4 bacon slices (halves).

4- Place the top bun on the burger.
